Good day when Rattle uploads

I'm a bit worried the thumbnail image for the game is AI, I'm sincerly hoping it isnt but if it is I wont be touching the game at all. If it is made by a person I would love to get their socials as it does look amazing, it just feels like nothing can be trusted anymore.

I love the guest mansgement side. There was an ooold horse game called "my horse farm" that i loved as a kid. It included riding competition and ranch management. It had some ugly graphics but it was so much fun. Ive been wanting soemthing similair for years

I can see the horse training being use for horse behaviour students. How can the students condition the behaviour of a horse before they go and handle actual horses.

I am a new game dev so take everthing I say with a grain of salt, but from all my research and the couple small projects I've made, there's no excuse for walking simulators. If your game is just a walking sim, even in pre-alpha, you have failed. If your gameplay loop is not in the game, you *do not have a game.* I will never support a game that cannot show me at least a rudimentary version of a gameplay loop. Ive made that mistake twice and its never happening again. If your game focuses on competition, you build the contests before everything else. If it focuses on building a ranch, you build the stages of the ranch before everything else. They built a horse creator and a walking sim. If i remember right, the game was supposed to be about doing contests to help local townsfolk and building up your ranch. Im not asking for anything fully fleshed out, but after over a year they should have *something* for a game they are charging money for. Literally all they would need as a proof of concept is the world's easiest contest and a button to upgrade a building to a different model and they'd have more in the way of gameplay than they've had in the past year. Look, I'm an artist and i love art as much as anyone else. I made the mistake of supporting astride because of the art and because i thought they'd already implemented basic gameplay, but the astride team needs to stop working on art. Completely. Make some cubes and use them to make your mechanics. Only once they are fun can you even think of adding art. Also an early focus on multiplayer is going to cause a lot more issues with the process because not only is multiplayer hugely painful to make, but it results in tons of extra bugs and honestly should not be considered until the main loop is in its basic form, *especially* for games like astride where multiplayer isn'5 the main focus. I'll be honest, i was hesitant to call Astride a scam, but its been six months since Rattle's video and i'm going to assume guilty until proven innocent at this point.

That moment you watch a video expecting to learn about a new horse game (which I did), but you actually come out of it MORE overjoyed that someone else in the world played Jurassic Park Operation Genesis!!! XD

When you mentioned the Sims 4 & the horses, I felt called out lmao. 😂 I legit downloaded the Sims 4 once the horses came out.

This game gave me a massive nostalgia flashback, I can't remember what it reminds me of and it's killing me! (not dinosaurs it was defo horses)

They should’ve added the “report a player” button way earlier and they should’ve done something against the cheaters way earlier too, for the German servers atleast, peak cheating time was from 2020-2023, after that it pretty much died down and everyone that cheated has already got themselves the stuff they wanted and made their accounts pretty normal looking, now it’s harder to see who got their stuff through cheats and who has just been playing a long time

I never knew that I wanted a ranch management horse game, but now I want it very much. It would be awesome, to build a ranch, get horses, train them up for the guests, assign them to different tasks, manage the guests... There are plenty of games (both good and horrible) where the main point is riding the horses, and while that is obviously something most horse lovers want, but we also need games where that isn't the focus. I want to see my horses doing well not just under my saddle, but also ridden by others.

I was playing this game as a kid nonstop 😂 kept going in and out of town so the horses in the shop would update. So a remake from My riding stables

Horse games with real functional genetics have my heart. The only reason I played ETG was because of the gene panel and breeding. Im looking forwards to seeing where this game goes because between that and the barn management it sounds like a good fill for a small niche that I particularly like. Edit: If "management" could even include things like ordering feed/bedding, scheduling the farrier, etc I would be THE happiest camper. So much realism "real estate" that games dont expand on enough imho. That and y'know... leads lol

Ooh, Equire is looking really good! I absolutely agree on the single player preference. Not everything needs to be an MMO that you just HAVE to play right now before it dies in 5 years. I’ve been noticing gameplay from Star Equestrian in the past few videos. Do you plan on reviewing it? The Discord situation after the pegasus update was hilarious

It bugs me that many games call their stables "ranches" Yet what we always get is jumping related disciplines... I wish we would get actual ranches, with western disciplines.

I will wait before I get this game... as 99% of the horse games have had issues of some sort so I'd rather not waste my money if it turns outs to be like every other horse game that promises you something but never delivers or only gives you a half assed promise that may or may not be exactly what was promised

I love management games, but one thing they desperately need is the ability to hire stable hands. Once you have too many horses it gets overwhelming to remember all the small chores. Let alone complete all of them and have time to ride and train.

One thing I see in a lot of these horse games is that the animations for jumping always seems to be running much slower than all other animations. It's like there's suddenly less gravity and the horse slowly flies over the obstacle. I wonder why that is. It looks weird.

I look forward to this a lot actually. I really like management type games as long as i can control them right( i could not get a hold of my riding stable).

I have only played the original My Riding Stables, but always loved it. EQUIRE sound very interesting and the horses look fine, except for the tail, I hope it won't twirl around that much in walk and trot further into the development.

have you ever reviewed Petz Horses 2 on the PC? would love to see that... also looking at the gameplay, this is definitely looking a lot like Pet Vet - a game made back in 2005. i quite like it

2:34 on my og acc I had for abt 3 yrs gradually all my horses disappeared and I just figured I did smt wrong or was hacked so I just spent money rebuying horses recently my acc was banned permanently. I had no idea that I could get them reinstated I feel they should be more open and willing to help players since most of them are very young and not experienced with tech like I was

Sso needs to wake up and look at the community that they built and destroyed. Quality over quantity, we don't want more events we want good events. We don't want many horses, we want good horses. Sso should be a safe place for all horse people and even young kids. I wouldn't care for quests or horses if chat was fixed! Surely it's not that hard to go play their own game and experience the community that again they created and they are destroying. Sso is blind and if they don't open their eyes and see what's happening then they can fall.
